How do you play RPG's?

I think I want to get into the RPG offered by this site, but I have no clue of how to do it. I've looked at the rules and everything, but they leave me more confused than before I read them :dunno:

Does anyone have the patience to explain how to play to me? Or maybe a link to something that explains it? Any and all help will be very much appreciated!
