It gives us room to our imagination to work so…I bet that the most of you wonder how your favourite friends or NB member look like in the real life. How do you imagine your NB friends?

However, my thinking has a psychological, logical root.

If you have nothing to hide you have no reason to hide it.

It's also natural that someone with great confidence will post pictures of himself, which is mostly the case. If you look at '' show yourself '' threads on various internet sites, you will notice most people that posted there look pretty good.

And for that one guy that downrated me, calling me ugly, I believe I posted three pictures of myself in that thread.

Well... I know for a fact that i'm a good looking guy, however i have absolutely no intention of uploading my pic onto a website full of people i dont know or speak to. 1. Because its not really relevant to me - my profile pic is relative to my affinity to the naruto manga/anime/fav characters, and 2. Because you have no idea where tour personal photo might end up. It could end up anywhere on the net, or even worse downloaded by some crazy Sakura (or other character) Fanboy/Fangirl and used as a screensaver on their cell phone.

Facebook gives you the option to restrict audience viewing to your photos so it's not the same.

Not only is beauty subjective, but if you believe that everyone who doesn't have confidence in their looks is ugly, then you're blind. Furthermore, there are those who do it just for the mystery. Even an 'ugly' person can have confidence in their looks. You're displaying terrible logic.


OT: Every now and then I may try and imagine what they look like, but that image never really stays the same.
