How do you imagine ANBU Kakashi's portrayal in the upcoming arc?

According to various characters in the manga, Kakashi wasn't exactly the person we know in the past.

Kakashi himself said he was close to becoming like Obito.
And Obito said it's very unusual for Kakashi to show mercy to his enemy.

Do you think ANBU Kakashi will be portrayed as a cold-blooded bastard in Kakashi ANBU hen? I would actually love to see him struggling with his "dark side".
