I swear I've tried for months and couldn't have one. I'm starting to think they aren't real or impossible for me to have. It would be really awesome to escape this reality(temporarily) and create a new one in my own dream world. I could be a complete badass for a complete 8 hours a day Lol. Anyway has anyone had a lucid dream? If so how? Was it random? Is there a method? Please explain.

I've had lucid dreams!!!!! They're amazing. Sometimes they just happen. They say though you have to lay completely still for like a half hour when you go to sleep. Though I never do that.

Why have a dream when you can make those dreams a reality,it wont be easy but escaping to dreams is like Obito trying in a immature way to fix things,no offense meant.

Although they have tricks for turning a regular dream into a lucid one. All you have to do is realize that it's a dream. So like they say that you can look at the time and then look again really soon, if the time change is drastic then your dreaming, now you know your dreaming and can control it.

It's possible lol Well first off, if you didn't already, you have to "practice". For example, pinch yourself, look at your hands, say, I am dreaming and stuff like that. If you do that often, it'll be likely you'll do that stuff and be aware. Even if you do achieve lucidity, you'd have to remind yourself repetitively so you can stay lucid. Lucid dreaming works best when you take a nap and remember to keep a dream journal to write in when you wake up.

you have to find a dream trigger(a reoccurring item or thing in every dream you have) and once you realize what it is and you can remember your dreams pretty well you go into a dream and look for your trigger and once you find it and notice its a dream your conscious mind be there just enough to know how to control the dream you may not get it at first but once you do it enough you can stay lucid for longer and be able to do things like flying and jumping miles and even teleporting....=D

Walk through walls? Move mountains? Fly without machines? Control fire with your thoughts? All these things are essentially impractical in reality. I'm sure they're witty ways to do the things that I said but you get what I mean.

well it becomes a lucid dream, the moment you realise you'r dreaming, then control becomes very easy, but when you loose control or become weirded out, then it becomes a nightmare

Yes i understand your reasoning but still you will miss the real life out there, i would rather date a real woman in real life rather in a dream-get it.

Yea I lucid dream kinda a lot. But here's a WARNING

As soon as you realize your dreaming it becomes lucid. Once lucid controlling it is quite easy. However if you lose control or think of something without realizing that peaceful, amazing lucid dream can take a horrible turn for the worst. Nightmares, nightmares everywhere. You CAN regain control but you have to overcome the nightmare. This might happen the first few times lucid dreaming. And they say if your hurt in a dream, a lot of the time the same injury will actually be there when you awaken. These nightmares have happened to me.

Oh yes, I've had a few Lucid dreams, although I didn't want to. I usually happens when I have a bad day or am disturbed about something. Those have been usually terrible dreams and when I try to wake up, sometimes I can't even when I know I'm dreaming and no matter how much I try to. I wouldn't want to experience them again.... :(
