Specifically in regards to characters, attacks, and fights that are expanded on or created for their respective media?
For example
Most of you are aware of Shisui getting a susanno for Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. A susanno designed by Masashi Kishimoto for the game. Also there is to be an animated fight exclusively for the game that depicts and extended battle between Shisui and Danzo.
We never saw the fight in the manga only the result. The fight shown in the recent anime filler arc was brief and didn't do justice to Shisui. Do you think the extended fight in the game should be taken as the official happening? Danzo was familiar with susanno and how to fight one in his bout with Sasuke during the 5 kage arc. Maybe this will explain how Danzo approached fighting Sasuke based on his previous experience with Shisui.
Other things would be
Sakura's parents who never made it in to the manga but were designed by Kishi to be used in a movie.
Kakashi and Itachi being paired together in Anbu during the recent filler arc.
etc etc other examples.
Granted things that are egregiously out of step with the manga and sometimes the anime should be ignored.
Things like:
Finally a clash! Jonin VS Genin
or
Naruto vs Konohamaru in the chunin exams.
or
Any of the movies
