How do you feel about hype

OT: Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's not. For example, Hiruzen's hype shouldn't be taken as 100% confirmed fact. It came from Iruka. :|

By hype the Gokage are nothing compared to Hashirama, and Hashirama > DSM Kabuto, Obito, EMS Sasuke, BM Naruto, etc. (it was stated that no shinobi alive is as powerful as Hashirama).

yet the man who stated has 0 to no info on sasuke obito and naruto hype is overrated as hell if it wasit for hype hashirama would be still seen as a fodder

depends. when the author himself hype his character up to be very strongest, we know it's some serious sht. when that being said, I mean the words that come out from the Author's own mouth, and not some mistranslated manga scan.

hype tells how strong a character is when they're not in the story
and i like how theirs all kinds of crazy hype about different people in this manga,it's not like other mangas where you always know who the strongest is

I fail to see why hype is so important in debates, but I can see how it can be relevant in the plot. By hype, no one alive compares to Hashirama, but if you take out hype, Hiruzen would be stronger because Hiruzen stated himself, "Hey, Iruka!! Don't speak in past tense!!" when Iruka said "He WAS called the strongest..."

Anyway, I just don't take hype all that seriously with the exception of the Rikudou Sennin because he defeated the Juubi and sealed it in him, as well as possessed the Rinnegan and we've already seen some of the Rinnegan's powers. I don't think we've seen all of its powers, so we'll see how powerful it truly is.

Yet the man who stated that was superior to EMS Sasuke, and still admitted that he's inferior to Hashirama. So it's not so far-fetched.
