How do you feel about gaiden?

The fact that i hate sakura and want her dead has nothing to do with me not wanting sarada to be her bio child. Every other character got pushed aside, including naruto's own son, just so sarada could find out who her mother is. Sakura has been playing the "being a mother isnt about genes but loving your child" card which helped reinforce the idea that karin was the mother(which sarada thought to). End of the manga, we get an anti-climatic "im your mom" from sakura. Been waiting 10 chapters and sakura just blurts it out likes its nothing.

Why does karin even have sakura's cord? Did kishi not think it was important to explain that? I've never heard of friends keeping it because they delivered the baby. What was the point of all the drama anyway? Karin could have adleast talked to sarada herself, or maybe joined sakura in the discussion.

And then when sarada asked, "do you think your feelings are well connected with mom" and sasuke says "yes because we have you". Which to me sounds like she's the only thing keeping them together, he didnt even give her a hug/kiss/poke when sakura saw him off for his next mission.

I dont want to say this short manga was a waste but it didnt leave a good taste in my mouth.

I thought it was shit or maybe even worser. I seriously hoped that Sakura would die the last chapter. The villain was pretty crappy too, he talked less than Kaguya and kept getting soloed by the kids as well as Naruto.

Sasuke does well in Gaiden, basically plot surrounds and moves along with him.

It makes no sense with him to be with sakura

He never once hinted at it or even implied it through a single action.


Hinata and naruto had a clear bond and she risked her life to save him.

Karin did the exact same thing and what ?

I think the fan base screamed too loud and it overtook logic.


Great manga kishi but you definitely need to stay away from romance elements all together.
You clearly have no idea when it comes to relationships.
