How do you feel about Gai showing everybody up?

If we look at Madara's track record, he wiped out absolute monsters like BSM Naruto, SM Hashirama, EMS Sasuke, Tobirama, SM Minato, Gaara, all 9 Bijuu, Killer Bee ,and even Sai (gasp) collectively in under 30 panels. Half of these powerhouses he wrecked with no eyes and the other half got 1 paneled.

But Gai was able to push Madara and in fact nearly kill his ass straight up. Don't get me wrong, I'm super psyched for Gai and I'm glad he was able to prove what a beast he is. But, at the same time, it makes everyone look like shit by comparison. Ironic, really.

What are your thoughts?

He's certainly better then everyone at it, don't get me wrong, even Madara acknowledged him, but even so, I won't be at all satisfied if he lives. I agree that he's put on a spectacular show, but this even surpasses Eight Celestial Gate hype. Kakashi said it gave you power above a Hokage, not on par with a God. I'm very proud of Gai and if anyone deserves some wank it is Gai, but this is... slightly reaching imo. The jump between 7th and 8th gate is like jumping from Kaio-ken x 100 to Super Saiyan 3 in a snap.

Gai deserves an honorable death after the feat he just pulled off against Madara. Yea anyone can have that kind of raw power unleashing the 8 Gates but nobody can use it that skillfully and pull off attacks like that except Lee! I kinda wanna see the 3rd Raikage with 8 Gates omg that would really be something right there.

I think it was awesome I thought guy was one of the weaker characters with not being able to use justu and all but boy was I wrong ... I still think madara let guy kick his a** for entertainment or to test his new abilities ... I mean madara was laughing after every hit even when he took out half his torso !
