It depends on how strong you are on the inside. (mentally/will) For others it'll take time or finding someone else who can fill that void in their heart. Everyone has their own ways of handling a broken heart so you just have to find your own.. but you shouldn't feel like this for just one girl.. no matter how you felt because I've honestly been through that. Word of advice don't dwell on such things because in the end you'll end up messing yourself up even more and you'll start screwing up with certain things.

You need to stay close with your family and friends. Let them know how you feel and talk to them about your feelings about her. In my case, I kinda had to get rid of her from life to ease the pain. I always talked to a close friend and I suggest you should do the same. I would also recommend that you should do fun activities like bowling, going to a movie, or just doing weird-ish fun stuff with your friends.
