How do u guys choose animes??(opinions)

The first part was good though I don't like the "after 30 seconds then drop" part. That's way too short to really make an opinion on something, also(and this is just personally) I've sat through movies that were bad for the first half or better but sometimes the ending makes it all worth it and then upon a 2nd viewing you see it wasn't as bad as you originally thought you just weren't in the right feel at the time.

Whew, you can never be sure though. I've seen people say stuff like that. I dropped OP after 20 episodes, of a 700 some episode series? Really? That's like reading 40 pages of Harry Potter and saying this entire series is shit lol. That and the "there's so much to catch up on I don't think I wanna do that" drive me a little crazy when I hear them. When has it ever been a bad thing that there's a lot of something you might/do enjoy?

If the synapsis seems good, I'll watch the first episode then decide if I'd like to continue. There are only a few animes that were so boring that I dropped them halfway...I don't like doing that.

I watched randomly what the anime channel gave us, Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist. After this i searched an anime only if the manga were awesome like Bleach or Kuroko no basket. or if i received infos in rl that it's worthy.

I dont really watch new anime I watch some old anime movies. For me I go for the story and art style.im a 2 I watch one episode and I decide if im gonna continue watching it

I watch top 10 something on youtube in order to have a first impression, I watch the opening of every seasonal anime, if I like the opening I give it a try or I just watch every pv on all upcoming and airing animes.

i will read reviews but still check the anime out for myself by watching the first 2 -4 episodes at the most.

I'm number 2 I never use My Anime List.
But what I do is
See the genres (I don't like depressive dark negative stuff) it needs to have comedy even if its little and also seriousness.
Check comments to see what is about (I don't know why but I trust the comments more than the summary).
I see 2 or 3 scenes in youtube (spoilers don't have a negative effect on me).
Then i will think about it...and start watching.
Im very selective with anime because I dont like to start -episode 1- and leave it there hanging. If I start it... I need to see it till the end.

I am totally the kind of person who doesn;t care about reviews hahaha.
I mostly watch old anime, from the 90s and although there is extensive reiew material on it, I just search for certain specifics and give it a chance:

If it's romance, non-gore, non-violent, I'll watch it xD
Also, I truly like the slice of life ones.
