[Question] How do these infraction points work?

So yesterday I got my 1st infraction for posting "because his mom does not love him" @ forum games;why do you like the person above you? -_-
I got 1 point. So next time if I get 2 it will be 3 and ban for a day then will it get back to 0 or will it stay 3? I got a message from the bot and replying it does not work.

No matter what you are warned/infracted for, they all have expiration dates. Bans are based off active infractions.
Essentially, you have to accumulate 3+ infraction points in a rather short period of time to achieve even a 24-hour ban.

Lastly, should you truly feel that a warning/infraction was unjust, you may PM a staff member of that section or G-mod.
There are certainly instances were warnings/infractions have been reversed; not all instances are so black and white.​
