How do i turn off fighting someone who uses instant awakening...

I don't use that instant bs, I like to combo people instead of using the awaken action and just use my support all damn day like the majority of these shitheads out here on Xbox live

Try using Kabuto as a support, he usually doesn't flinch when you're being combo'd and his attack is unsubbable.

Have you fought someone who plays as Suigetsu? Instant awakenings like a mofo. Stick with your friends, its much better and even when my friends instant awaken, i still kick their butts most of the time.

I hate using instants too.Not all the time,but since everyone else uses them non stop i really don't feel the urge to use them all like that lol
I am also on the same page with you on support characters.There nothing more then petty annoyances that completely stop the momentum of a fight.

My best advice would be to play something else.
I never go online on any Storm games unless I'm playing with my friends. There are way too many rage-quitters and spammers in the online community for me to enjoy it. Besides, what's the point of earning BP and ranks if there's people who just hack their way to the top of the leaderboard?

If you really want to keep playing online without getting annoyed, you should try practicing against the COM or friends, and find ways to counter certain spam-characters or instant awakenings.
