How do i tell my parents something that is embarassing yet very serious?Its something that has been casuing me great harm for some time now.I wonder if i should even tell them,considering they might not believe me..

If you want your parents to take you seriously, approach them as an adult would. Try to remain calm and express yourself as clearly as possible. Don't hide anything and don't try to gloss over the main issue, otherwise it will just make them be more curious and you'll start to feel like you're being interrogated. You will also have to prepare yourself for the fact that they may not understand, but that doesn't mean they love you any less.
