Sorry to hear that. It's unbelievable that ISP's can get away with this. You should at least opt out.
If you need further information, or you're not sure what to do, make a thread in the IT Section, and I will walk you through it.
Gamahiro told me to make this thread if I want information/tell me what the hell is happening/how to opt out.
PLease Gamahiro, help me.... I'm so lost you have no idea...

Basically, what is happening, is that your ISP is intercepting invalid domains (or what it thinks is invalid), and replacing it with something else. It can be a search engine, an advertisement or whatever they want. You need to opt out of this dns redirection. To do so:
Go to
Log into your account (this is the main account for your isp).
Once logged in to Customer Central scroll down to High Speed Internet Settings and next to Domain helper: device 1 click on edit.

Check Disable Domain Helper and then click on Save.

If your computer is directly connected to your cable modem, you will need to reboot your computer.
If you have a router directly connected to your cable modem, you will need to (a) reboot your router and then (b) reboot your computer.

To test if it worked, just go to
If you see this it worked:
