How do i make cool avatars to NB?

i've seen many people making really nice avatars to NB.. Like my avatar right now, it's pretty
cool... does anyone have a tutorial? to make so nice?

You could also simply ask some of the better GFX'ers on this site for some advice

But you first have to download either Photoshop or Gimp first. Then you just go and look at some tutorials on youtube or on this site. There are plenty of ways to make good avatars.
