Any tips? I'm playing american football now and my time for a 40yard dash is 4,88. 100m sprint is between 10,8 and 11,1
I'm a wide reiceiver and my coach says it's very fast, but I want to play in a better league and for that I have to run at least <4,70. And my 100m sprint should always be under 11sec. It is most of the time, but sometimes a bit more.

So maybe anyone here is an athlete, or football player so they can give me tips? Thanks. :D

Are you not american? I uh don't mean to sound smug here but i know quite a bit...My 40 time was a 4.69 not very spectacular but work your core muscles...if you have a shitty core than the rest will follow suit. If your core is in good shape it will be easier to tone the other muscles. Speed is harder to work on than most but let me tell you, you will definitely be quicker.

Ah okay thanks I will. And no I'm not american and I have some trouble at the start of the run that's why my time is meh.

When i was in the military to get my times down amd build my stamina so i could recover quicker during events i would start by jogging a mile then speed walk 400 meters, sprint 400 meters and keep walling amd sprinting for the next 2 miles then a 400 meter cool down walk. try to push yourself during every sprint. Another thing you can try is running with added weight like dumbells.

First you gotta find 617 teddy bears. Then after that you gotta find a little pin needle. Once you find the needle you're gonna need to stick through the eye of a f*cking saber tooth tiger. If you can't figure out how to do that, google it. Once you stab the tiger in the eye you're gonna reach into it's bum bum and pull out a key. That key is going to open one of seventeen doors; you're gonna open one of those seventeen doors and theres gonna be a surprise birthday cake. You're gonna eat the cake and then you're gonna poop out another key. You're gonna take that key and go to another door with a speederuppermengigger machine. You're gonna put something in the machine and tadahhhhh you're faster now

I know that's why I'm currently practicing 10m sprints.

And what do you mean with where? In Germany.

Also, I just started it 1month ago

I'm only asking where because i didn't know they had leagues over there

I played football and ran track all through high school and am currently in the military. I can tell you sprints and running form are crucial. You need to make sure to run on your toes and stride out. Running with resistance is good too. I always run with a weighted vest on. Doing power cleans REALLY help with explosiveness, which is what you want off the line.

Become a black person. If that doesn't help you get faster, or you are already black, go to a gym. If you wait long enough at one of these "gyms" someone should eventually offer you steroids. Hope this helps.

Don't run passively. Keep raising the ladder and do interval sprinting daily. I know this Iranian guy who keeps winning marathons in Holland. That guy sprints nonstop for an hour and 12 minutes. He's always number 1 on half marathons and the number 2 comes in about 15 to 20 minutes after him. He does sprint interval daily and runs 6 times a week.

I run but irregularly. And when I do, I sprint for about 50 metres and then refrain from stopping, I just lower the pace and keep going.
