How do I get a sprite on my signature?

I made a short sprite yesterday to put as my sig but have no idea how and I was wondering how people got them on there.

You may have to upload it to an image hosting website, such as photobucket or imgur. If your sprite is animated, make sure you save it as a .gif, otherwise it won't move.

Once that's done, go to your User CP and onto the Edit Signature page. From there, you just need to paste the direct image link (right-click and 'view image' to get the direct URL for an image) within IMG tags.
