Ah yes how I do remember those days. Forgive me, I cannot assist you here as I have yet to play XV2. However this did serve to allow me to take a stroll through memory lane to when I played XV1. Some of those PQ where just downright unfair—a challenge yes, but unfair. See I'm a stubborn creature by habit, so I refused to give up even well passed the point that I should have, considering it's a video game. However I pushed through, and for 5 months I grinded that god-awful RNG system until finally I had obtained the Platinum in the game. It's one of my proudest Platinums, as well as one of the ones that I am most ashamed of wasting my precious time in obtaining such a meaningless thing. That grind is what made me swear not to touch XV2 as honestly it looked like just more of the same with a few tweaks here and there; don't get me wrong, XV1 was a fun game and had a lot more depth as a fighting game than say the Ninja Storm games, but I was burnt out on the XV combat system by the time XV2 was announced.
I guess I should try and tie my little monologue into something inspirational for your cause - Don't give up! Take a break from that PQ for awhile and come back at it with fresh nerves later! You'll get it, and when you do you'll feel great! - or some crap like that.
