How do Edo Shinobi use Summoning Jutsu?

Just a random question i thought about whilst re-watching the Madara/5Kage battle.

I mean they're dead right? we've established that for them to be reanimated they have to be dead, most of them being dead for quite some time in fact (Older Kage, Madara etc). If that's the case and the basic rules of human life and death apply in the Naruverse fact is(Blood congeals in the body after death and completely separates from red blood cells) then surely it would be impossible for a dead guy to be able to perform a Jutsu that requires them to produce blood?

Come to think of it, since the Edo Shinobi were brought back they've practically been spamming the hell out of Kuchiyose no Jutsu! don't thing i've seen them using any blood either Wdf Kishi?!

True, however they're blood bound to their own summonings. We've seen Edo Shinobi summon corpses of Shinobi that died way before they were even born/never met. For example (Paukura/Gari and the Seven Mist Swordsman) pretty sure Madara was never the second Tushchikage's summoning either XD

But how? Itachi died some time before the start of the Fourth shinobi war, his blood shouldn't be able to pour down his face like that. Surely it would have congealed? :O

do you honestly think kishi is applying to the intricacies of biology whilst writing the manga? even if he does he gets around things by introducing plot no jutsu (as some have said) so basically its his universe: it doesnt have to make logical sense.

Remember that other people's fresh(er) bodies were used to perform the edo tensei, so there would likely still be blood in their bodies. I'll escort myself out..
