How do chapter delays work?

Before I only use to watch the anime and only caught up to the manga during summer break; so i don't know how they work

Also I apologize if there is a place for stuff like this, but there may be others like me who don't know

My question, if the chapter is being delayed to Monday, does that mean we get a second chapter that week, like on Wednesday or a little later? Or is that just wishful thinking

Weekly Shonen Jump comes out to newstand in japan on monday we got the chapters 5 days eariler on wendsday due to the shipmants to stores being shiped earlier to some stores. Now the japanese have delayed thoese shipmants so we dont get the chapters as early.

The earliest we will get the chapter with probably be Friday's for now on if this remains permanent.
