You do know the uzumaki weren't part of konoha or the 4th noble clan. The 4th noble clan was the akamichi clan

I stated above that I assumed that because of the alliance between the Uzumaki-Senju, the Uzumaki would at least help.

But I guess not :/

On the other hand, having two of the most powerful clans (Senju and Uchiha), who dominated during the Edo Period, they still should've had an advantage.

Probably Hashirama was trying to defend Konoha and try to stop the war. Thus Konoha never went to the offensive imo.

Definitely I'm thinking maybe Hashirama died early and Tobiram a started his oppressive practises during the war. So the Uchiha didn't participate in the war which would be been a massive blow to their power.

In the manga, it was said that the Uchiha were treated like expendables, so I don't blame them.

Maybe because the other villages were powerful? That would explain why Hagoromo needed them to get team 7 out of Kaguya's dimension.

I doubt that Hashirama and Madara were the only powerful people in that era.

Itachi does remark that the Uchiha's numbers never dwindled, so it's possible that they mostly never participated.

Hashirama was an idiot for giving each village a Bijuu. If he used the Uzumaki or any acceptable hosts, Konoha would've been unstoppable. The villages would've got shut down if they started a war.

I would like to believe that if Madara was the First Hokage he would've done that

- Hashirama didn't wasn't accustomed to killing anybody
- Nidaime Raikage was presumably = Tobirama
- Konoha didn't have Madara
- the Uchiha as a clan probably felt less inclined to be involved
Hashirama was never Killed in battle. That his ET was in his younger years was just because of plot . Imagine a old Hashirama fighting in the war . And against Madara. That would suck if he was old .
the 1st DB confirmed Hashirama's manga implication that he was killed in that war. Since the 4th one says his body was brimming with vitality, it can be assumed that being a granddad didn't mean he was going to look anybody else his age.

In another scan he claims the Uchiha haven't lost numbers.
