How did you start watching/reading Naruto ?

Post the true reason of how you actually started to read/watch Naruto manga/anime !! :x3:

My reasons:

Naruto anime: One of my friend suggested it. Before that, I used to watch only DBZ :scorps: !!

Naruto manga: After I started watching anime, I just got bored by those stupid fillers and started reading manga ! :yayy:

Anime: It came on toonami, which I watched religiously - so I thought I'd give it a shot
Manga: Got bored of waiting for English anime, so I watched Japanese when I found out it was further along. Then I caught up, and found out there was a manga (which I was skeptical about, never having read a manga before), so I gave it a shot.

I saw the Toonami promo on t.v.

I randomly looked at internet to find out it was inspired by DBZ.
read all 385 chapters and been following it up to date O__O

i use to hate naruto until it started to play on cartoon network i was like i guess i can give it a shot then once zabuza appeared i got obessed and there were only 9 episodes out at the time in english dub so i was like f it ima watch the subbed version i need to see how this plays out right now. that was a good spring break well spent

Anime: started watching inuyasha and bleach as well as death note which is amazing, and searched for related and that popped up, now this was before shippuden so I've been watching it for awhile!
Manga: got bored with all the fillers and my friend told me about the manga and how far ahead it was so I was like "well fu@k me" I even started reading the manga from the beggining before I caught up to the Japanese anime which is all I watched before!

 

[The Paradox]

My older cousin got SJ a lot, I read the manga in them and was drawn in to Naruto out of all of them because I can half relate to the kid I guess. Then I saw the anime (raw) and it was so balanced out that I loved it. I started to RP with my friends in the schoolyard, doodled my favorite characters in class (I'll try to find them, I doubt I kept any) and stuff like that. Then I got onto the internet and did online RP from 2007 or 08 until about 2010 or 11. My profile picture is of my OC.

I remember getting my first huge shonen jump comic bundle on my 10th birthday. Back then, All I read was DBZ, so I was given it as a present from family. When I flipped through the pages, I noticed the Naruto chapter when he was training and Haku found him in the woods. Since then, I was curiously interested on why that boy looked like a girl and how Naruto was going to do in his future fights lol Ahh, good times~ :scorps:
