I loved the sode. Lots of cool details in the fight.

Edo side:
The brutal use of living people to combat their allies, any advantage you can gain in war is good for ur side of course!
The deidara + Sasori combo from above, explosives + chakra lines to control the aburame dude.
Allied Nations Side:

Loved the fake out to backslash the chakra strings sasori had
Also loved the earth jutsu that brought that whole area down many many feet... and back up again to own Deidara ~_~.
Kankuro displayed various feats that were worlds better than when he fought sasori.
I loved Sai's aerial attack.
Their teamwork was pretty legit for never practicing.
Aburame's sensor jamming technique.
Only thing I didn't like was that sensor guy who acted a fool, ignored the aburame guy's warnings and also ignored kankuro's warnings.
