I came across Naruto while watching Toonami one Saturday evening on CartoonNetwork, and initially, I thought it was pretty cool. I didn't get into it though, since it was just whatever to me then - but later on my friends suggested I get into it, so I did. For the most part, I only watched the series dubbed, [Terrible Mistake] and skipped every filler episode [Another Mistake]. After a while, I got fed up with the fact that the English series took so long to catch up with the Japanese adaptation, so I said to heck with it, and watched every single episode from Part I to Part II subbed, fillers, movies, OVAs - everything. And I have not regretted doing so - I've been able to learn alot, and despite the inconsistencies in the series, it will pretty much always remain at the top of my anime list.

Yeah i watched the fillers and OVAs as well.....I did not know that it was not from the story...it was just laster on i found that they are all fillers....but still like you i have not regretted watching them...i still watch the shippuden fillers.......I just need a dose of Naruto once a week.....And i don't care what it is.....U_U

When I was, like, ten they started showing commercials for Naruto on Cartoon Network. I took one look at it and decided it looked stupid. As a kid with no friends at the time, though, I had nothing to do and sat myself down when it first aired. Fell in love. Been there since, although now it's with the Japanese dub and the manga itself <3

i actually saw the first 50 episodes or so in some italian channel (i am half italian half greek) when i was just 12 loving it since then for 5 years
