How did you get started on the Naruto manga?

At first I was extremely resistant thinking it had too many Dragonball Z similarities. Then I caught the episode of Jiraiya attempting to teach Naruto the contract summons. The way in which Jiraiya begins preparing an unaware Naruto to have no regrets (i.e. tries to have him eat a good meal, spend his remaining cash, kiss his true love) before pushing him off a cliff to his potential death was awesome. Then, Gamabunta... Just awesome..

Was bored one day and watching bleach fights on youtube then there was a recommended video at the end which was the pain vs naruto fight which after watching I went back and watched it from the first episode. Before that I used to think it sucked after seeing it has talking frogs and slugs haha.

I was playing the naruto game demo and saw tobi. Then i looked it up online to see who he was and found out it wasnt revealed then i started reading to find out

cartoon network marathon won me over. I always thought it was a standard fare kiddie cartoon but I watched a few episodes around the time of the chuunin exams and when Sasuke stabs himself in the leg to break the genjutsu and it intrigued me. Little did I know it would end up going full circle and devolving into that standard fare kiddie cartoon I WASNT looking for.

Someone embarrassed me on Youtube because i said a certain character couldn't do a certain thing in a comment. This guy replies to me n telling me to read the f*cking manga and what not at this point i was pretty much clueless as to what manga was.

I was never big on this internet thing at the time i didnt know anime series had a manga to them. So I started reading the actual manga around post pain attack in the manga. Then i went back and read the manga from shippuden thoroughly up to where it was and now we are here.

Toonami got me to Naruto but dropped it for about 2 some years till a friend a mine from youtube recommended the manga soon picked it up again.​

Watched it on Toonami as a kid, only to be disappointed by it being dropped some years later. Then watched Shippuden on Naruto.com, then found this website, where I read the manga and become increasingly disappointed by the anime...

The anime was starting to air and I saw a "trailer" .... yeah and then I started watching the anime until my cousin told me that you can read it online and well here I am

I was at my mates flat and he watched the Sasuke vs Itachi fight. I knew Naruto before but I never was really interessted in it (I only knew the maincharacter and I didn't really like him and his design) but that fight got me hooked. I then started to watch a few shippuuden episodes which my friend told me were good (mainly Sasuke and Itachi stuff because those were the only two I was interessted in, in the beginning). After that I watched every episode from the start and continued with the Manga. :yeah:
