How did you get into Manga or Anime👌👌

When me was a young lad, i used to watch le beyblade, zoids, crush gear, digimon, porn, yugioh, dragonball Z etc (are these cartoons or anime).

They were showing Naruto on Cartoon network and only Naruto for a day or two I think. Watched all the way till the end i think. Found out there was shippuden.

Both my bros read one piece... thought it was ass and was only reading naruto. Then i got hooked on both and just read all the manga my older bro read. I legit just saw my bro reading kengan asura, liked the art style and started reading jajajaja

I first really got into anime (other than like pokemon and digimon) after staying up late enough on cartoon network to watch inuyasha. Eventually I would join my first forum where I interacted with lots of people who had different tastes and they got me in on some stuff. If I remember correctly I started getting in on school rumble shortly after and I freaking loved that show (but it was slice of life and comedy way diff from inuyasha) pretty sure ever since then I just kept watching different shows and discussing them online until I got hooked on to it.

As a kid TV was the one. I saw anime and didn't know it was anime at the time. Then I found out their were comics and all, so I stated read and got into more manga and anime. I liked the manga, because I used to read comics so it was a win win.

Digimon, Beyblade, Yugioh, Dragonball are all anime, well, animation that comes from Japan and I believe, they are all intended for the shonen demographics just like Naruto or One Piece.
However, I think there is a bit of distinction between them and that is mainly in what their primary purpose was. Beyblade, Yugioh and similar anime were kind of there to promote the product that was for the sale (the toys/the cards). If you know anything about anime history this makes a lot of sense, as anime in the beginning was really just a marketing tool to get you into buying these things that were popping up. I mean, the same thing exists in modern anime but on a different level.

So, I watched the same anime as a kid as you did and I also collected Yugioh cards and had Beyblade fights with the kids from the neighborhood but it was not until Naruto and specifically Naruto Shippuden until I figured out what anime really was, if that makes sense.

I was a big DBZ watcher when it showed up on tv. And from there I fell in love with Naruto, then Bleach. One Piece didn't come until really, really later.
