How did you get into Anime/Manga

Anime found me. My best friend introduced me Naruto, however, when we weren't friends anymore, that's when then I started watching this thing he called "anime".

I think I saw the episode of Naruto where Iruka gets stabbed and shit goes down. Then I started watching it regularly. Idk

Naruto used to come on TV when I was quite young, and I loved it. I abandoned it (I just stopped watching TV) towards the Sasuke retrieval arc. Then, some years later a friend of mine asked me if I ever watched Naruto. He basically reminded me how much I used to like it so I picked it back up.

Early on with toonami and 4kids(?) or whatever station had yugioh Saturday mornings. Later on when I was in 6th grade my friend got me into Naruto.

It was naruto for me. A friend in school gave his hardrive which contained a hundred episodes. I was reluctant to pick it up at first, unroll I was borred and had nothing to watch and just had to try it. The first couple episodes were blur for me me, everything changed when team 7 embarked on their mission to zabuza's country, can't remember the arcs name. I remember trying to make handseals as haku does, good old days!

then i got bleach episodes, from thesame friend. I didn't like it as much as I did naruto, but it was good.
And then onepiece happenned! And boom, a ****ing addict.
I found narutobase thanks to same friend.

Naruto. I watched anime before (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, Digimon, Shaman King) but at the time I didn't know what anime is and just considered them another cartoon on my daily TV schedule.

It was only after getting an internet connection and following Naruto online that I entered this world.

When I was young I would watch Voltron, Silverhawks, Thundercats, and Robotech. By the early 1990s I was watching Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, Ronin Warriors, Lupin, and Ranma 1/2 regularly. I remember a show called Samurai Pizza Cats too. In the mid-1990s Sci-Fi channel started playing Saturday Anime. I was in love with Record of Lodoss War, Tenchi Muyo, Dominion Tank Police, Project A-Ko, Bubblegum Crisis...just to name a few. In the late 1990s the Cartoon Network started Toonami. There were some good shows on that too, like Gundam Wing.

Gundam wing brings me back.

Watched alot of it on Toonami/Adult swim(DBZ, Naruto, Eureka 7, Full Metal Alchemist, Zatch Bell etc). Didn't really get into till several years ago in junior high.
