how did you come to know about naruto series

how did you come to know about naruto series? through manga or through anime? let me know guys

i came to know about naruto series through anime. at that time i didn't know it was based on manga

Barely got into it about 3 years ago. My friend randomly told me about it and he showed me the Sasuke vs itachi fight. I started watching shippuden then after a couple episodes went back and just watched it from the beginning. Then I needed to know more so I read the manga. . Then made my gf watch it from the beginning, so she's caught up too but only watches the anime. We just cosplayed asuma, Kurenai, and konohamaru, the other day for a comicon
