completely different situation. a man with a gun isnt a superpowered god who just destroyed my whole city and has my mother pinned down. i would at least make a plan to sneak up on him and use the element of surprise. but hinata turned into hidan and charged blindly head on like a braindead idiot.

If she wouldve never got hurt naruto wouldve got captured, but since she risk her life to help him take the rods out she was stab n naruto was enraged so he turn into da 6 tailed defeatin pain.

not at the cost of her sanity or safety, i wouldnt. hinata was only in the way, in the same way a wall is in your way when your trying to get to another room. she had NO plan, NO hope, and DID NOTHING except make naruto feel worse than he already did. hinata never expected any demonic monster to come out and narutos father's leftover chakra to save the village. her thought process was "im selfish so that gives me the right to go get myself killed and leave the village in a worse position than it was before.

hinata "loving" him is an excuse her fans use. love doesnt mean suicide. hinata throwing herself onto pain's rod is the last thing naruto would want, hence him screaming for her to get out. for naruto, he would rather get captured than have anyone die for him. hinata also not only ignored naruto, but her superiors. she had orders to not go down there and did so anyway, making her a traitor who doesnt care for the rules. all cos she has a puppy crush.

even sakura understands it. the reason she didn't step in and fight orochimaru or zabuza is because kakashi ordered her to stand back and let him handle it. kakashi got captured in the water prison because the kids didnt escape and instead let themselves get in kakashi's way. even hinata admitted she was selfish. was naruto being captured really so bad? nagatos plan actually had the right idea. theres no such thing as true peace.

YES I WOULD. id think about the best way to save the person i love without getting myself killed uselessly. and hinata WAS useless. she was a bullheaded idiot charging into a fight she couldnt possibly have won. lee and gai saying they will help naruto, now THAT i believe. since they are USEFUL and actually PLAN. when my love is in danger, i wouldnt force her to watch me die. id actually try and rescue her by sneaking up on the enemy and buying as much time as possible so she could pull herself free. but hinata had brain damage and didnt do anything like that.

trying to save my love, knowing im not going to achieve anything and just getting myself killed isnt a true rescue attempt. even when pain is leaving with naruto, he will be vulnerable wandering through the forest. THATS when id attack and get naruto away from him. but hinata chose the worst possible place to fight deva path. out in the open field.

if you want to bring up sakura, she at least succeeded in saving sasukes life because she had naruto as backup, and used herself as a shield. but minato had to step in and fix hinatas ****up.

hmmm......good point. Maybe rebuilding the village after Pain destroyed it is also symbolic for a new better konoha and philosophy to match a new shinobi world that will get rid of hatred and strive for true peace. Even if this is deemed impossible, You can always hope. And thats all you need bro
