How did Trunks get so strong so fast?

This isn't even on the same level of bull shit. A few people's energy doesn't equal a whole planet worth of creatures and the planet itself energy.

You all have to remeber that the greatest trait of saiyans is there ability to get exponentially stronger the closer they get to death. Trunks experienced the greatest growth, but also almost died like 3 times.

So ill say that it was mostly anger and almost dying 3 times, along with the people lending him their strength.

This. I was wondering why no one brought this up. Is everyone just watching the Anime? This isn't the first time they skipped parts that were in the manga.

That only made him as strong as SS3 though, the question is how did he go from that to SSB level within less than a week.

Like uh, he was fighting the Androids for a good long while and was still getting his ass beat, his "love for hoomanity" never suddenly made him 400x stronger it took Gohan dying just to unlock Super Saiyan.

All of a sudden he goes from being roughly equal to SS3 to holding his own against SSB level opponents to summoning random genki dama swords to take out SSB Vegito level foes. Where was this Trunks during the Cell saga? Did plot just not call for it? If he can exponentially increase his strength this drastically overcoming the androids shoudlnt have been so hard for him.

It's still bullshit how Trunks is strong enough to block fused Zamasu's sword with purely his own strength. Also the amount of energy he absorbed was no where near as much as they needed to kill Kid Buu, who is nothing compared to this Zamasu.

They had to make him useful in his own ark.. Goku & Vegeta were too far apart from him so they had to do somethin..

He'll the plot was so hard for Trunks, even Boss man Vegito was push aside..
I'm beginning to think that maybe they should've left out future Trunks if they were going to have Goku/Vegeta reach such a pinnacle.. (He (Trunks) doesn't fit the power scaling)

We're going to see more of these type of asspulls or whatever because Goku/Vegeta are to strong, so they're foes will be too...

I don't know about Goku, but Vegeta sure untill it was retconed to be something only freiza at the time could do.

Its been established the spirti bomb is stronger the more energy it has. Its always been that way.It's not that big a stretch to say a whole planet and it's creatures worth of energy is substantially bigger than the energy of those that can destroy planet, whether you agree or not. That's a number well into the hundreds of billions of things to draw energy from not even counting the planet itself and even the sun. Stars are nothing but ridiculously large amounts of energy that's a fact.

There ARE ways to explain this stuff but we don't get any explanations. That's the real probe here and this episode pushed the boundary with the asspulls, so now we need an explanation.
Regardless the point still stand super is in a far worse level of fuked up writing than DBZ .
