He used the speed of FTG and the power of Sage Mode attacks to weaken the Juubi, then seal it to himself using an Uzumaki technique.

All the more reason that the Sage was like Naruto.

Conclusion: Sage mode and FTG are godly level techniques along with the Six Paths rinnegan techs. :p:whip:

I think the SO6P didn't defeat the Juubi, but rather sealed it inside himself. Therefore he "defeated" it with sealing techniques. Also I'm pretty sure he used the treasured tools.

Look at Minato, he didn't defeat the Kyuubi, he sealed half of it in his son and half of it in himself.

Minato of course didn't defeat the kyubi by himself, since it was Kushina Uzumakis chakra chains that restrained the fox first before he could use Reaper Death Seal.
Sage of six paths defeated the Juubi first to incapacitate or restrain him before sealing. Senjutsu works against tailed beast it seems, but he also needs the speed of FTG to land a hit, and Uzumaki seals are the best.

You really could answer this question yourself. Due to the fact that he's the ancestor of shinobi, you can safely assume that he knew most jutsu (or atleast more efficient versions of modern jutsu). So just imagine Kushina and Minato in one, with stronger techniques, etc.

Naruto is the product of Kushina and Minato.
He will get FTG and Uzumaki chakra chains, along with his Sage mode.
He's truly the reincarnation of the Sage of Six Paths, no denying it. :whip:

SO6P asked the help of the Legendary shinobi "Iruka" to defeat the Juubi and he did it by just wavering his hands over it.

Arashi Uzumaki, the Elder Toad summon, it all makes sense.
On-Topic: We don't know how he defeated the Juubi, but it's same to assume that he used many techniques that weren't shown yet. Like this new one we got from the 642nd chapter, that "removes all ninjutsu" - there are probably a ton of other techniques like that that haven't been shown yet.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the Elder Toad and Rikūdo knew each other :snick:

The elder toad could possibly be the contract summon of the Sage of Six Paths, back when he didn't have dementia. :whip:
