How did the 1st Hokage survive against Madara let alone defeat him, Explain i mean didnt madara have his ems in his sasunoo with Amaterasu it makes no sense, even if he used his wood jutsu to hold down kyuubi. how could his wood jutsu beat EMS. it said they had countless battle but always ended in a draw.

he had to have other tech up his sleeve, his wood element isn't his only tech he needs to be a master of water and earth in order to have wood, so he must have those, then tons of exp. plus a lot chakra.

As other users have said, I'm positive Hashirama had more stuff up his sleeve, also, Madara isn't ''owning'' the kages he's testing their powers. But most of his attacks have been with his Rinnegan, even though he was in Susanoo, he still used his Rinnegan to bring those gigantic 2 meteors into the battlefield.

Anything in that battle could have happened between the two for the conclusion of Hashiramas victory, we just have to wait. It'll be revealed soon enough hopefully...
