How did Sasuke even use itachis eyes- ITACHI WENT BLIND

When you mix two mangekyou sharingan you get EMS, which you don't go blind in.

It's not hard to understand if you really read the manga carefully, the sibling pair of eyes gain "new light" on the new user, even if Itachi's eyes went blind they came back to life when Sasuke implanted them in him. Only works with Uchihas tho.

i dont think people understand the question:

1) the eyes need to be implanted- anything else about taking power has never been said ever and I'm very "versed" in sasuke, and no he's not my favorite character, because i don't fanboy over fake shit- i like all of the characters and their contributions (or not cough sakura) to fights or the story. Quit making things up

2) itachi DID go blind- he grabs his face and susanoo disappears because he GOES BLIND
3) never in the manga does it say that EMS will "restore" light to sharingan- only that it prevents the loss

so the question is if this is a plothole

I'm curious what you read. Itachi grabbed at his chest and covered his mouth because whatever disease he had was making him cough up blood. His Susano'o started to disappear from that, but it didn't disappear completely. After he died it disappeared.

He didn't go blind. Otherwise he wouldn't know where Sasuke was to walk right up to him. :/

Itachi said himself upon awakening the Eternal Mangekyo the light is restored to the eyes and it will never fade.

Did we read the same manga? hmm

hmmmm, do you have scans? maybe it was earlier in the fight he grabbed his face- not the time sasuke broke the tsukuyomi, after that
