its not irrelevant, its a very important question because if she passed chunnin exam using bogus methods then it means the whole ninja system is rotten

She would have passed if she defeated ino and next rival and if exams went smoothly.
With super strength and medic ability it was easy to defeat fodders.

Considering Shikamaru was promoted and Naruto and Sasuke left, she could've entered the exams with Ino and Choji and all got promoted together.

Or Tsunade personally promoted her as she saw her growth in strength when training with her.

The writing portion is one third. She passed that. Forest of Death is the second third. She made it through that. The tournament in the final stage, which she stale mated against Ino the first time. With Tsunade's training, she likely was able to pass it in the time skip.
