What mother spends her time talking about the days they've spent with the father of the child in question?
That depends on what kind of question you're asking. Are you implying that a mother should never tell her child about her father, when there is nothing wrong with such said father? Or are you implying that mothers in general don't have the time to rely information about such said parent?
Even if you ask your mother "what did you do with dad when you were young" or "what did you guys do before I was born", her reply will always be vague.
My mother wasn't really vague with my dad's personality. She was pretty straightforward, and we had questions to ask. These things happen when you father isn't always there for you, you tend to question what kind of person he actually is, or if you are similar to him in some aspects.
In Sakura's case she never had much contact with Sasuke from what was shown in the manga (I still question Sakura's decision to have Sasuke as the man of her life). Sakura met Sasuke at a young age— Sasuke was a loner— Sasuke resigned to Konoha— Sakura hadn't seen Sasuke for years— Sasuke wholeheartedly wanted to kill Sakura— at the end of the series Sasuke pokes Sakura's forehead, the end. The story of Sasuke and Sakura. Is that a story you want to tell to your growing child? Save it for when she is older.
Sasuke and Sakura had a premature relationship before he accepted her as a team. During the Wave Arc, and towards the Chunin Exam Arc (extending this to when the Sand Village attacked), there is a lot to pull from. It wasn't only Sakura and Sasuke's relatonship that was pitiful at best, it was Sasuke and Naruto's, but he still had enough information to rely back to his daughter.
Either way, Sakura spent a unspecified amount of time with her husband before she gave birth to their daughter. I'm sure there must have been something to pull from that experience, if from what I'm understanding their old Team relationship isn't enough (despite it being enough for the father's best friend, who mind us spent only a bit more time with Sasuke than Sakura, which most of it being 1 on 1 fights).
