Sakura never talked about Sasuke. It's one thing to keep a secret about his mission, but damn. Then, that picture of Sakura and Sasuke messed Salad all the way up. It messed up fans of the series too. I didn't even believe Sakura for a second. Other than that, Sakura is a good mother.

Ok lying to a child really. Whatever mission/dangerous situation it might be, you can't lie to your own child. If she just told her where her father was and who Team Taka was, the whole drama crap wouldn't have gone this far.

Instead what she does is get pissed and break the house. Temper Tantrums smh.

Other than that she was a fine mother. She did take care of Sarada by herself so kudos to her.

I don't really agree with what Sakura did as mother. For instance some of her terrible lashes at Sarada for questioning her marriage, which resulted in the house destroying, didn't sit with me well. But I don't really label her as a bad mother, in fact I don't think there is a bad mother.

Even Orochimaru seems to be a good parent based on some of the scans. What doesn't sit with me well is that Sakura didn't try to teach Sarada about Sasuke, for instance Sarada has a very limited range when it comes to knowing her father's persona, she only knows the basics such as him being the last Uchiha. She even said it herself. I think it's a matter of Kishimoto's terrible writing, similar to the blank spaces in Sasuke's journey. However again I don't internally blame it on Sakura.

Eh, she did a very poor job of explaining the truth to Sarada. I'm sure even you can see this. It created unnecessary drama in my opinion.

That doesn't make her a bad parent though. She was always there for her when it mattered.

Never understood why sasuke had to keep this a secret to such an extent. was it not sasuke himself who said he and naruto is the strongest in the world? lol i don't think anyone has the balls to challenge two rikudou's, let alone infiltrate the village and abduct their kids.

That was the only reason she was smiling. It didn't matter to her. Nothing is wrong with that because she is happy, but she is still clueless who are mother is.

I agree that she should've talked about Sasuke more but I also think that Sakura not talking about Sasuke in depth was to give Sasuke the opptunity to make his own impression on her. Sasuke wasn't always a good person and her tried to kill Sakura and if she would've told Sarada that off rip, she probably would've never wanted to meet him being how close she was already to her mother. Now as far as the picture thing goes, I don't see any harm in it. Sakura had every right to create a family portrait even it wasn't taken that way and if she would have never tried to present that type of frame to Sarada, she probably would have never questioned the validity of her family.

Sakura did, as already mentioned, some really really stupid things as a parent, but at least she was able to take care of Sarada and slept by her side when the little girl was sick for example.
