[Discussion] how did Rayleigh escape kizaru?

as title stated if i recall Rayleigh was able to fight evenly with kizaru but was running out of stamina due to being retired for so long how u think he got away

if it was stated i totally forgot can someone tell me lol..

Kizaru was being stalled by Dark King, he had no intention of going up against him... So after Luffy's escape, Kizaru most probably had retreated...

Other than there being no point in a battle between the two of them? Kizaru could've died or gotten severely injured (same with Ray ofc) and to what aim? It's not in his mission to capture him, but the Supernova. I imagine this, amongst other minor reasons being the cause of their battle ending.

Exactly this point. There is no point in fighting someone you have no beef with and isnt your mission to capture.

Kizuru simply retreated knowing that can couse him injuries before Marineford war, so it was pointless to fight him...nd it would have been a disadvantage for the marine if somehow Kizaru fought Dark king for long.

Marines can handle only one legend at a time.This is Garp statement which clearly mean one admiral is not enough for Dark King
