[Question] How did Onoki Fly?

In Naruto, Onoki and his daughter and a servant I forgot the name of. How they can fly? My friend told that shinobi that has air nature can fly. Is it true?

It has nothing to do with having fuuton-natured chakra. It's actually an earth-based technique. Onoki has the ability to alter the gravitational force on an object or it's weight. He essentially alter's his weight so that he is lighter than air and therefore able to float. It's done through a doton ability called Light-Weight Rock. Madara, Pain, and Obito have also used it at some point.

Pretty much as Eos stated. His ability allows him to partially have control over the weight of other people/things. Partial, in that he can only make them really light or really heavy, but can't make them a specific number in kg for example.​
