It's because half of Obito's face is artificial, I doubt he could really feel it. Besides with the trauma and all the other crap that has been loaded into his brain I highly doubt it even phased him. He did survive getting crushed by a huge boulder at a young age.

Honestly IDK though, like I always say who cares just enjoy the story or go write your own.
