[Discussion] How did obito know the truth about itachi??

Umm hard as i try i cannot figure out how obito knew of itachi, itachis mission to destroy the uchiha clan, Itachi's reason for doing so and his actual love for his little brother. Obito was able to tell sasuke why itachi killed all of their clan and
who ordered him to do so and itachi being both a spy for the police force while working as a double agent for the leaf.
How did he know all of this i mean even if he guessed that itachi did it for the village simply because he wanted to let his little brother live He couldnt possibly had know tht danzou ordered it

did he have zetsu's listen in, was he spying on the young extraordinary uchiha?
we know obito worked with him but what events led up to that. Itachi wouldnt have told him why he was doing it because he knew that if this guy was gonna help him destroy the uchiha because of a grudge then he couldnt trust him

Imo Obito was planning try another attack on Konoha since his failure with the Kyuubi attack 6 years prior and Itachi approaches him and convinces him to masacare the Uchiha instead of Konoha

Obviously he more than likely had Zetsu spying for along time....what better way to sap information from Kanoha than a Zetsu who can't be detected and can turn into anyone he wants with same chakra type!

He knew of iyachi's plan because he told himself. Itachi seek obito/tobi out but because madara was the only one with known secrets of their clan that died outside of the uchiha clan that's why he thought it could only be him and really nobody would I have thought of obito.

Maybe Madara filled him in?? Or he was spying on Itachi as well..

zetsu. you missed the danzo+obito fanboys theory.

i dont think its been explained in the manga yet, but i find it hard to believe that danzo willing told obito.

Uhm, did you miss something? Itachi didn't kill his clan alone, he made Obito help him. So he probably just told him the truth to convince him to help him..

He told Obito to leave the village and Sasuke alone so he pretty much figured out why Itachi was doing from that alone and his ultimate plan for Sasuke. He probably knows that only Danzo would give such orders if Itachi mentioned not to hurt the village, it was more of an Uchiha problem, you know Obito isnt as stupid as people think.

Yes Itachi told Obito about killing the clan and had him help do it, but he didn't explain that it was an order from the elders. Itachi did not believe Obito knew the truth and was surprised when he found that out. Obito could have simply come to the conclusion that it was an order, considering Itachi's personality and the fact that he was so serious about killing everyone. However, he was too confident about it being true for it to have simply been an assumption.

My guess is that he became suspicious with Itachi's actions after aiding him and began survailing the village for more information. Between his Kamui and Zetsu, he could have easily overheard the elders talking about it once or twice directly after the incident.
