How did Obito keep control of kurama when he was in another dimension.

correct me if I am wrong but isn't genjutsu performed by extending your chakra into the brain of the victim and controlling their brain? If so then the user must constantly extend more chakra into the victims brain to maintain the genjutsu for longer periods(izanami being the only exception).

Now let us look at obito's fight against minato. Obito first took control of kurama via sharingan genjutsu to use its power against the village.

Now my question is how did obito maintain his control of kurama even after teleporting and also going into kamui world when he became intagible while fighting minato? The case is the same with Fu and Tourne. He was able to keep them under genjutsu for a long period of time even though he was in a completely different dimension from them? now don't say that he can send his chakra to the kamui dimension. This has been proven false because Kakashi did not receive naruto and minato's chakra when they powered up everyone because he was in the kamui dimension. This means that chakra can't be transfered between dimensions.

So how does Obito do it? thoughts?

Sharingan seems to be able to manipulate the time frame of genjutsu. the untimate example is tsukiyomi. and KA can be casted once and after the user is gone the same genjutsu will be in place. so maybe his sharingan could perform a lesser version of these genjutsu in the one he used to tame the ninetails

Huh, that's actually quite an interesting find. Good job. But, I'd think that it is possible for the chakra to transfer between the dimensions, but it is Obito's very own dimension if you get what I mean, so quite possibly he can control it and allow chakra to be filtered through or not.

Minato's chakra may have been unable to transfer to kakashi, but obito can most likely maintain his own chakra connection through dimensions.

I may be wrong here but I don't think it was just Genjutsu, I vaguely remember it being mentioned that controlling the Kyuubi is one of the Sharingan's basic abilities, that and copying Jutsus of course

sO since it's a Sharingan ability I think it's laws are different from regular Genjutsu cast by a non Sharingan user, for example if Minato would put it under Genjutsu and then be wrapped into Kamui then maybe the control would break. Also during that Sasuke Vs Danzo fight, when Tobi saw that Danzo has Hashirama's cells which allowed him to wield sO many Sharingans, he surmised that Danzo wanted to control the Nine-Tails sO I guess it's the Sharingan more than the actual Genjutsu
