Could be Minato... Or maybe Gaara is trying to get Naruto away from the battlefield so they would not be interrupted while trying to get him healed. Only two things that come to mind for me.

There are several possibilities.

Gaara was saved using some of Naruto's chakra/life when Chiyo performed the One's Own Life technique to save Gaara following his Tailed Beast extraction.

Minato has the Yin portion of the Tailed Fox.

There is a massive chakra-stealing tree of creation.

There is a reason all of this is happening in the region where it is - so there are likely any manner of old temples, relics, and artifacts strewn about that can be developed (plot wise) out of thin air.

Any one or combination of those things could come into play.

Hinata's request that "Niisan" (assumed Neji) watch over Naruto is also somewhat perplexing. It could be as simple as a sort of prayer - or it could be that her Byakugan noticed something above and beyond what others see (there were a few panels spent on "Hey, I'm activating my Byakugan. Even though it could have just been presumed that it was active and I saw everything happen.")

Someone more versed in Japanese mythology and culture might be able to pick up on some clues that I've absolutely no knowledge with which to reference... but it's hard telling.

They obviously aren't going to heal him. The healing they are doing now is only to keep him alive.

Gaara is most likely taking him to Minato so they can transfer the Yin Half of Kurama into Naruto, or its something else that we don't know of yet. Where else could he be going though in the middle of the battlefield?

If they transfer the yin portion to naruto, it would be pointless. If naruto tried to use it, it would simply be ripped from him once again. I think out best bet would be the fruit or something pertaining to the god tree.

I don't think Madara can do that since he's already got the Yang portion. The Gedo can only hold 9 Bijuu and Yin Kurama counts as a 10th Bijuu, even though he is just half of Kurama. They'd probably need to merge both back together and then suck him into the Gedo.


I don't see how anything pertaining to God Tree is going to be their ticket to saving Naruto considering God Tree is useless right now without the Bijuu chakra, which Madara has in his hands.

The answer is simple OP. Gaara is taking Naruto to Minato but needed Sakura or other medic shinobi to keep him in life for enough time.

Now Gaara is taking Naruto to Minato for Minato to transfer Yin Kurama into Naruto most likely but it still should not save him.

^^ Two problems.... Naruto should not have chakra at this point almost...and they would need to pick up Killer bee on their way before getting to Minato.

Now what would be purpouse of getting to that Sacred Ancient temple of tailed beasts ?... I am not sure but most likely one of the room there is place where Sage of six paths created Tailed beasts... so we should find out black circle drawn on ground where Naruto put there could revive or trigger tailed beasts chakra along with Sage of six paths's chakra sealed in these pieces to arise in shape of chakra avatar of Sage of six paths or tailed beasts to save Naruto somehow.

I have theory: why noone was able to enter that room... not even Killer bee. In my theory chakra of all tailed beasts along with their trust working as key are all ingredients to open that door and enter this The most sacred room ever.
