How did Madara Rinnegan Multiply?

I wonder how did the Madara rinnegan Multipy?

Mangga Facts:-

1) Madara confess that he awaken Rinnegan when he is near to his death.
2) Madara says that he gaves those eyes to Nagato.
3) The rinnegan is multiply into pairs.
@The pairs given to all Pain ( 6 pairs)
@The summoned animals also has rinnegan eyes

How did the eyes Multiply?

and how on earth that summoned animals also has it?

Basically the path's eyes mirror the one who is controlling them. They aren't really physical copies. It's just how it works in the Narutoverse.
