Title says it all, how that OP motha ****a know this much about the SO6P while the other Uchiha or the Senju knew no sht about him except for the fact that he may have existed. The sage died centuries before Madara was born, why was he the only one to know about it. I don't believe it was the elders in Madara's time that told him about it otherwise why would it be kept secret and only Madara had the privilege to know about it? Before Obito reveled the story, they weren't even sure The SO6P existed.

Did Madara find this out by himself after he realized the Curse Of Hatred between the Uchiha and Senju?
But how the fk did he know the Younger was chosen over the Older (uchiha) ?

Everybody has already aid their piece, but I would like to add that he knows more because he wanted to know more. I doubt anyone was interested in subduing the Juubi or could even accomplish it. It was a thing of fairy tales. Madara knew that to subdue the beasts you need a sharingen and possibly a rinnegan even, because I am positive that is what the sage used to subdue the tailed beast. As he wanted the juubi to further his plans he must have struggled all his life to gain knowledge about it.
