Cant conclude that, it simply left overs in the air overlapping madara.

Madara has no rinnegan and mokuton cant absorb ninjutsu so strip no jutsu is only legit explanation.

His hair covered the outside of the armor, how does the armor catch fire but not his hair? Makes no sense. His hair not burning down like you said is proof to him absorbing it
