How did Kimimaro manage to keep on lee's speed?

I'm not trying to underestimating him and yes his clan is indeed special and that he's taijutsu user, but how did he manage to keep on moves he can't see? For example huyga clan or the uchiha clan have abilities for that. Naruto has sage mode, the 4rh raikage has incredible reflexes because of his raiton but kimimaro has incredible reflexes from nowhere. You can't learn that only from training your taijutsu style it's not enough. You need a kekegenkai special ability for that or something. His kekegenkai is just these bones.

This, and remember what Sasuke could do after 3 years of training with Orochimaru? And it was even hinted that there was some sort of unnatural method to how he acquired that strength. On top of that once curse mark stage 2 is acquired it appears that they see some effects of it even when they don't have the curse mark activated. Kimmimaro trained with Orochimaru far longer than Sasuke had.

I don't think so. Just because he was able to keep up and even outspeed Kimimaro doesn't mean he was able to harm him. Even Gaara's most powerful sand attacks, which crushed him under much more than the pressure needed to completely pulverize a human body, did absolutely nothing to him other than contain him, and couldn't even do that for long. His skeleton is far too sturdy. The bone sword he produced from it was able to cut a shuriken in half like it was butter, if that's any testament to just how hard his bones are.

Kimimaro didn't keep up, but every time lee got close to him bones came out of his body in that area which protecting him and injured lee. Kimimaro possesses a kg he is special.

If this was a normal person lee would land a blow in that area and injury them.
