The help of 4 guys throwing kunai in a general area not even aiming at anyone specific? Yeah that's a lot of help and seriously downplays the feat, you're right. Not to mention they were Minato's kunai so those 4 weren't even needed, he could have thrown his own kunai out. Each guy is beaten and tired so even giving you the benefit they each = 1/2 a man so Minato +2 avg ninja vs 50 = Minato shuts the show down; Tobirama vs 20 avg ninja = Dead Hokage despite him having FTG, bringer of Darkness and an ability to create suiton out of the air.

I'm reading the comments here and people are just not reading the OP. Kakazu had no domu or any of that ability with the hearts until after he lost to Hashirama. So what happened here is that a Highly skilled Shinobi from the waterfall with unknown type of style survived against Hashirama in battle and made it back well enough to be punished by his elders.

The only thing I can say to that is during the battle against Hashirama, kakazu was clearly about to die so he put his last resort in escaping Hashirama to make it back to the village in one piece. Also judging from Hashirama's battle style he does kill his opponents like any other shinobi but he doesn't pursue them when they are fleeing for their lives. Just like when Madara escaped Hashirama after his brother was fatally wounded by Tobirama.

We don't know that and Domu doesn't stop any internal attacks so what good does Domu do against Hashi's death spores(Advent of a flowering world or whatever it's called)? Domu won't protect him from breathing.

Domu doesn't tank Hashirama's Flower Tree World's Pollen because Domu only affects the exterior of the body.

Therefore, Kakuzu would've gotten negged.
