The only difference is with nine seperate biju is that you still get use each bijus power separately and kuramas special powers are: Regeneration, avatar, and negative emotion sensing. Because of this, having all nine biju give you the avatar unlike the jubi.

Who gave you RSM is Gedo Mazo. Bijuus just a natural chakra entities with KKG. They will not gave you Six Path power, the power crucial for Six Path Senjutsu. Only Gedo Mazo holds the Six Path power/chakra.

If you think 9 Bijuus can gave you RSM, how about Non-JJ Hagoromo. From where he get his RSM power or how he maintained that power when Juubi or Bijuus is no longer inside him? Answer this question first.
