How did Itachi use izanami??

You need to know how Izanami works and how to use it along with MS that is all thats required. You want something else to be required to use the techinque but it was stated in the manga when itachi used it.

Because it is based off the Sage's jutsu Creation of All Things and the Uchiha mostly used it because they had the tablet to tell them what Creation of all Things was.

Neither Izanagi nor Izanami requires Senju DNA, just Uchiha DNA (AKA (Mangekyo) Sharingan).

Adding Senju DNA is considered "Perfect Izanagi" due to it being somewhat derives from the Sage of Six Path's jutsu

Danzo wasn't Uchiha or Senju, he had to obtain the Sharingan eyes and Shisui's eye & arm, plus Senju DNA from Orochimaru, making his incomplete.

Tobi however, was naturally an Uchiha, who obtained much more potent Senju DNA (Half Zetsu), so his is much more complete.

Izanami was created by the Uchiha to prevent people from overusing Izanagi. Even at the cost of an eye, it wouldn't be the best thing if Uchiha's also needed Senju DNA to use it.
