How Did Itachi Perform This?

this was in shipuden right? Well in part 1 we knew that Itachi needed eye contact to do genjutsu I guess the guy improved..... Actual those people who use genjutsu without sharingan how do they use it? I mean do they make eye contact?

Itachi doesn't need eye contact to perform sharingan genjutsus. This is proved on multiple occasions.

The most ridiculous thing about that feat is that Orochimaru has excellent genjutsu skill, and yet he was still struggling to escape Itachi's binding genjutsu.

Pretty much anyone below Orochimaru's level in genjutsu doesn't stand a chance against Itachi (take Minato for example).

You don't seem to have understood me. I know perfectly well that Itachi can cast genjutsu with other methods than just by his eyes, but this doesn't prove it is a Sharingan genjutsu at all.

On the page shown in OP, Orochimaru clearly implies the genjutsu he has been caught in was granted by Itachi's eyes, thus, I'm more than sure that Itachi in fact made eye contact with Orochimaru, since he has not been shown to use any SHARINGAN genjutsu without the use of eyes.

I believe it was mentioned in the anime or in the manga that Itachi suspected Orochimaru to do something like this.....so I'm pretty sure he just cast it beforehand
